Additional product info: Echinacea purpurea root, at 0.9-4.5 grams per day, is used in Herbal Medicine to help fight off infections, especially of the upper respiratory tract. Helps to relieve the symptoms and shorten the duration of upper respiratory tract infections (1). Boneset herb is stated to possess diaphoretic and aperient properties. Traditionally, it has been used for influenza, acute bronchitis, nasopharyngeal catarrh and specifically for influenza with deep aching, and congestion of the respiratory mucosa. The recommended dose is 1-2 g, three times a day (2).
Yarrow aerial parts is indicated for digestive complaints as well as loss of appetite. The recommended dose is 2-4 g, three times a day (3). Achillea millefolium herb has been used in traditional herbal medicine for temporary loss of appetite. Used in traditional herbal medicine for symptomatic treatment of mild, spasmodic gastrointestinal complaints including bloating and flatulence. The recommended dose of the fluid extract is 2-4 ml (2-4 g), three times a day (4).
Cayenne fruit at 15-650 mg is traditionally used in Herbal Medicine to help support peripheral circulation (5).
