Additional product info: Viburnum opulus is a general remedy for cramps. Colicky pains in pelvic organs. Superconscious of internal sexual organs. Female symptoms most important. Spasmodic and congestive affections, dependent upon ovarian or uterine origin. Menses too late, scanty, lasting a few hours, offensive in odor, with crampy pains. Bearing-down pains before. Ovarian region feels heavy and congested. The recommended dose is tincture, and lower potencies (1).
Belladonna acts upon every part of the nervous system, producing active congestion, furious excitement, perverted special senses, twitching, convulsions and pain. It has a marked action on the vascular system, skin and glands. Sensitive forcing downwards, as if all the viscera would protrude at genitals. Dryness and heat of vagina. Menses. Hæmorrhage hot. The recommended dose is first to thirtieth potency and higher (2).
Caulophyllum thalictroides is a woman's remedy. Want of tonicity of the womb. Spasmodic and severe pains, which fly in all directions; shivering, without progress (3).
Dioscorea villosa is used as a remedy for many kinds of pain, especially colic, and in severe, painful affections of abdominal and pelvic viscera. Uterine colic; pains radiate from uterus (4).
Sensation of weakness, dragging and weight in the sacrum and pelvis, with great languor and prostration, are excellent indications for Helonias dioica. Menses. Leucorrhœa. Breasts swollen, nipples painful and tender. Menopause. The recommended dose is tincture to sixth attenuation (5).
Apis mellifica is indicated in oedema of labia; relieved by cold water. Soreness and stinging pains; ovaritis; worse in right ovary. Menses. Dysmenorrhœa, with severe ovarian pains. Metrorrhagia profuse, with heavy abdomen, faintness, stinging pain. The recommended dose is tincture to thirtieth potency (6).
Cimifuga racemosa has a wide action upon the cerebrospinal and muscular system, as well as upon the uterus and ovaries. Amenorrhœa. Pain in ovarian region; shoots upward and down anterior surface of thighs. Pain immediately before menses. Menses with backache, nervousness. Ovarian neuralgia. The recommended dose is first to thirtieth attenuation (7).
Gelsemium sempervirens is useful for pains pass up back. Dysmenorrhœa, with scanty flow; menses. Pain extends to back and hips. Aphonia and sore throat during menses. Sensation as if uterus were squeezed. The recommended dose is tincture, to thirtieth attenuation (8). Magnesium phosphoricum is a great anti-spasmodic remedy. Especially suited to tired, languid, exhausted subjects. The recommended dose is first to twelfth potency (9).
