HKI is a homeopathic preparation of the kidney organotherapy remedy, multiple botanicals and multiple minerals in a convenient liquid format that simplifies dosing.
Additional product info: Sarsaparilla officinalis is used in renal colic. Pain from right kidney downward. Tenesmus of bladder; urine passes in thin, feeble stream. Pain at meatus. Bladder distended and tender. The recommended dose is first to sixth potency (1). Urtica urens is a remedy for profuse discharge from mucous surfaces, and uric acid diathesis. Favors elimination. The recommended dose is tincture and lower potencies (2). Berberis vulgaris has marked action on the liver, promoting the flow of bile. Often called for in arthritic affections with urinary disturbances. Hepatic, and rheumatic affections, particularly with urinary, hemorrhoidal and menstrual complaints. The recommended dose is tincture to sixth potency (3). The clinical application of the symptoms of Coccus cacti, place it among the medicines for spasmodic and whooping coughs, and catarrhal conditions of the bladder; spasmodic pains in kidneys, with visceral tenesmus. Urging to urinate; brick-red sediment. Urinary calculi, hematuria, urates, and uric acid; lancinating pains from kidney to bladder. The recommended dose is lower triturations (4).
Lycopodium is adapted more especially to ailments gradually developing, functional power weakening, with failures of the digestive powers, where the function of the liver is seriously disturbed. Constant sense of fermentation in abdomen, like yeast working; upper left side (5). Benzoicum acidum produces and cures symptoms of a uric acid diathesis, with urine highly colored and very offensive. Renal insufficiency. Vesical catarrh from suppressed gonorrhœa. Cystitis. The recommended dose is third to sixth potency (6). Colocynthis is often indicated in the transition season when the air is cold, but the sun is still powerful enough to heat the blood. Intense burning along urethra during stool. Vesical catarrh, itching at orifice. Red, hard crystals, adhering firmly to vessel. Tenesmus of bladder. Pains on urinating over whole abdomen. The recommended dose is sixth to thirtieth potency (7).
Lithium carbonicum is indicated in soreness of bladder; pain in right kidney and ureter. Turbid urine with mucus, scanty and dark, acrid; sandy deposit. Cystitis, subacute and chronic (8). Calcarea carbonica is used when urine is dark, brown, sour, fetid, abundant, with white sediment, bloody. Irritable bladder (9).
