ReleaseZyme is intended for persons having chronic constipation. This means less than one bowel movement per day and/or hard, dry stools for an extended period of time. For best results, ReleaseZyme should be used in conjunction with a digestive enzyme formula (such as DigestZyme) and a probiotics (such as Plantadophilus). For mild or intermittent episodes of constipation, increasing your dosage of probiotics is often found to be helpful. Additionally, dietary changes to include adequate fiber and fluid as well as getting proper physical activity are both recommended in order to alleviate constipation.
